We all want to live life in the present—but sometimes we need to talk about the past. German 3 is for those who are already confident using the nominative and accusative cases. You’ll also get an intro to the fun stuff: various forms of slang that’ll make you sound like a native.
Start here if you’ve already completed German 2 with us, or if you can confidently talk about yourself in the present tensing using both the nominative and accusative cases.
The dative case, prepositions, the past tense, the comparative and superlative, and which prepositions take the dative and which take the accusative case.
Talk about travel. Say what happened over the weekend. Talk about the past. Describe purchases. Make comparisons. Describe places.
From day one, you’ll be engaging in conversation with your instructor and your classmates. This will prepare you to feel confident and comfortable when speaking with natives.
