Intermediate Spanish 5 is for you if you know all the major verb tenses and are looking forward to being totally fluent very soon. You'll learn how to add some color into your everyday conversation by being able to share your opinions and dreams.

You're ready for Spanish 5 if you know all the major verb tenses (future, conditional, and present subjunctive tense).
Imperfect subjunctive, past-perfect subjunctive, imperative, past conditional tenses, and how to form the impersonal with “se.”
With a small group (averaging six students per class and capped at ten), you'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational Spanish with other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
Share your opinions and dreams, discuss past experiences, regrets, and frustrations, and use idioms and expressions used by native speakers.

Catalina is a Costa Rican native and graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica with a degree in Language Education. She has over 14 years of teaching everyone from international professionals to PhD candidates and is incredibly passionate about her work. When not teaching, Catalina likes to help dogs in need through volunteer work, meet friends for coffee, or go hiking.
She is so interactive and always encourages us to speak in Spanish. I like her activities in the class. She always makes the class more fun. My rating is 10 for her!

A native of Pereira, Colombia, Yeiner has pursued his dream of becoming a teacher since he was little. He holds a Bachelors degree in Teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language and also a Law degree. Yeiner really likes to share his passion for the Spanish language with his students through games likes Pictionary, puzzles, and Jenga. He also incorporates songs, role-playing and more. In class, you might hear him say his favorite Spanish slang word, "chévere". When not in the classroom, Yeiner enjoys hiking at Bear Mountain or swimming at Bradley Beach.
He is a good teacher! Keeps class lively and I have learned a lot!

We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we do not hold classes on Federal holidays.
Plans change - we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your group course to make any cancelations or transfers. After that, we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds.
Our group classes meet for a total of 20 hours of live instruction. We have weekly classes (2 hours once a week for 10 sessions) and biweekly classes (1 hour twice a week for a total of 20 sessions).
