I felt like I really learned a lot over the ten week class. Great mix of grammar, speaking and fun.

Vincent wants to connect you to French culture

About the Teacher

Vincent was born and raised on "La Cote D'Azur" in Cannes, where they hold the best film festival in the world (and you can't convince him otherwise). He's a full-time French tutor at home to his American wife and he speaks fluent French and Spanish. In France, he taught French, English and Spanish to students from all over the world and he has a passion for the way language can connect people. Vincent loves encouraging students to participate in engaging dialogue by using lessons that are full of pop culture references. He focuses on building his students' confidence to speak and conquer the fear of making mistakes and likes to set goals and help others see real progress and have fun along the way. When not teaching, you can find Vincent playing guitar at home or enjoying all the amazing eats NYC has to offer (despite his best attempts to stick to his diet).

What students are saying
He is funny and open and engaging and wants students to relax and be ok with accepting they might not know everything right away but the only way to learn is to try

get answers

We love questions, almost as much as we love providing answers. Here are a few samplings of what we're typically asked, along with our responses

Do you hold classes on holidays?

We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we do not hold classes on holidays. The full list of our skip dates is New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and a holiday break between Christmas and New Years.

How many times do you group classes meet?

All of our group classes, except Essentials, are 2 hours once a week for 10 sessions. Our Essentials classes are 1.5 hours twice a week for 12 weeks.

Can I cancel my enrollment or transfer to another level?

Plans change—we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your Group Course to make any cancelations or same-level transfers. After that, there are no refunds under any circumstance. During the first 2 weeks of class, however, if you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to [email protected], and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!

What happens if I miss a class?

Most students do miss a class, or two, and we’re here to help ensure that you won’t fall behind despite any missed classes. We’ve set up our curriculum to make lessons easy to follow along outside of class, and your teacher will reach out to your group each week with a summary of materials, topics, and homework covered in-class.
