Alright, you got this. You're basically a pro—you know the present, past, and future tenses. You've got the Russian alphabet down and can read and write. In Russian 5, you'll develop your vocabulary skills further in everyday situations. By the end, you'll be able to impress your friends by talking politics, music, and litereature around the dinner table and have more meaningful conversations.
Each class meets at the same time and place for 10 weeks - creating consistency in your language learning.

Speaking is at the heart of all of our classes, and in an immersive setting, you’ll get even more opportunity to practice critical speaking and listening skills.
Step 1
Talk about a series of contemporary Russian topics, such as: Literature, Technology, Art, Dance, Film, Politics, Modern Russian society
Step 2
From day one, you'll be engaging in conversation with your instructor and your classmates. This will prepare you to feel confident and comfortable when speaking with natives.
Step 3
Start here if you've already completed Russian 4 with us, or if you can confidently conjugate verbs in the present, past, and future tenses, use verbs in the perfective and imperfective forms, and know how to use all six Russian cases.
Step 4
Everyday vocabulary. Solidify knowledge of Russian grammar. Thematic conversations.

We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we do not hold classes on holidays. The full list of our skip dates is New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and a holiday break between Christmas and New Years.
All of our group classes, except Essentials, are 2 hours once a week for 10 sessions. Our Essentials classes are 1.5 hours twice a week for 12 weeks.
Plans change—we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your Group Course to make any cancelations or same-level transfers. After that, there are no refunds under any circumstance. During the first 2 weeks of class, however, if you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to [email protected], and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!
Most students do miss a class, or two, and we’re here to help ensure that you won’t fall behind despite any missed classes. We’ve set up our curriculum to make lessons easy to follow along outside of class, and your teacher will reach out to your group each week with a summary of materials, topics, and homework covered in-class.
