Be ready to go beyond the basics in Hebrew 4. You’ll gain confidence in all the major tenses and graduate from simple to intermediate Hebrew in no time.
Each class meets at the same time and place for 10 weeks - creating consistency in your language learning.
We believe in hands-on learning, rather than getting lost in a textbook or sucked into perfection of grammar.
We exclusively hire instructors with a conversation based and student-centered approach to teaching, providing the best in-class experience.
Speaking is at the heart of all of our classes, and in an immersive setting, you’ll get even more opportunity to practice critical speaking and listening skills.
Step 1
Get comfortable with the irregularities of Hebrew grammar. Express yourself confidently in Hebrew through a series of various situations.
Step 2
From day one, you'll be engaging in conversation with your instructor and your classmates. This will prepare you to feel confident and comfortable when speaking with natives.
Step 3
Start here if you've already completed Hebrew 3 with us, or if you can confidently use the imperative, conjugate verbs in the imperfect, form construct phrases, and use numbers psat 100.
Step 4
Everyday vocabulary. First passive form (NIFAL). Reflexive form (HITPAEL). Self-expressions. Same expression. Niqqud. Inflecting prepositions. Common imperatives. Possessive inflections.
We love questions, almost as much as we love providing answers. Here are a few samplings of what we're typically asked, along with our responses
We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we do not hold classes on holidays. The full list of our skip dates is New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and a holiday break between Christmas and New Years.
All of our group classes, except Essentials, are 2 hours once a week for 10 sessions. Our Essentials classes are 1.5 hours twice a week for 12 weeks.
Plans change—we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your Group Course to make any cancelations or same-level transfers. After that, there are no refunds under any circumstance. During the first 2 weeks of class, however, if you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to [email protected], and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!
Most students do miss a class, or two, and we’re here to help ensure that you won’t fall behind despite any missed classes. We’ve set up our curriculum to make lessons easy to follow along outside of class, and your teacher will reach out to your group each week with a summary of materials, topics, and homework covered in-class.
Only students 18 years or older can participate in this course. If you are looking for options for students under 18, please check out our Kids and Teens page!
