“I've been taking private lessons through Fluent City for the past few months and have been thoroughly pleased. It has been the perfect way for me to return to studying Chinese. My first teacher, Yang, was super sweet, enthusiastic and incredibly encouraging. The communication I've had with Fluent City staff has also been phenomenal. Would wholeheartedly recommend Fluent City!”
“Such a bang for your buck! I started here not really knowing what level of teaching to expect and I have to say that it has been an amazing experience. I felt at ease and never frustrated while in class. The staff at the Williamsburg location, in particular Lauren, has been so understanding and helpful. Learn a new language, meet chill people and don't break the bank. That is all, carry on.”
“Terrific organization. I started with ‘bonjour’ and after three years of private weekly lessons, I'm practically a native speaker in French. I've worked with multiple instructors from France most recently Camille and Pauline and both were patient with me and very supportive as worked through the nuances. I recommend Fluent City to all eager learners out there.”

Can I customize lessons to address specific business needs?
Absolutely. While many organizations use our classes as a novel team building exercise, many others request us to cater curriculum to tackle real language barriers facing their team. In these instances, our in-house academic team will provide highly customized lesson plans that incorporate your specific objectives.
What can I expect in a typical class?
From music to games to group discussion, our classes feel more like a night out than a night class. We like getting away from the textbook and putting the emphasis on spoken conversation.
Who teaches the class?
Our staff of over 300 teachers come from all over the world and all speak with native-level fluency. We only accept 4% of instructor applicants who are all excited to share their passions with you.
How will my team know what language level to choose?
We'll happily send our Academic Director on-site to assist with level placements or have your team call our headquarters for personalized level assessments. Ask us about our "Intro Lesson."
