Esther is from Castilla y León, Spain and has been teaching Spanish in New York since she arrived in 2015. She's a passionate teacher with a BA in Flute Performance, an MA in Education and over 10 years of experience teaching music in Spain. She loves sharing about Spanish culture, and is especially skilled at using technology to support the learning process.
She is extremely friendly, answers every single question, and knows how to explain things so even beginners get it. Plus she gives extra info for students who are already more advanced/want to learn!
We love questions, almost as much as we love providing answers. Here are a few samplings of what we're typically asked, along with our responses
As long as the group course has not been cancelled or it has spots left, there is no deadline to sign up. However, we strongly encourage you to sign up at least two weeks in advance in order to secure your spot!
Students do not need to bring anything to the meet up!
The meet up is 2 hours long. There will be whole group discussions/activities and small group (break-out-rooms) discussions/activities.
Students must be at least 18 years old and up to enroll. While there are no language-level restrictions, we do recommend students be at or near the intermediate level or higher for the best experience.
