Start here if you've already completed French 1 with us, or if you've studied French before and can confidently conjugate verbs in the present tense while speaking.
Reflexive verbs. Direct and indirect object pronouns. Imperative and passé composé tenses.
With a small group (averaging six students per class and capped at ten), you'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational French with other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
Strengthen your vocabulary to be able to communicate in different everyday situations, but also learn how to make your speech sound more fluid and confident.
Jen has three loves in her life - language, dance and family. She earned her Bachelor's in French before continuing on to earn her Masters in Teaching French and ESL. She has experience teaching at the high school and college level, in addition to her work conducting online lessons with adult learners for Fluent City.
Jen is incredible, and I certainly plan to continue learning with her for a long time

We know our students and teachers probably have holiday plans, so we don't hold classes on Federal holidays.
Our group classes meet for a total of 20 hours of live instruction. We have weekly classes (2 hours once a week for 10 sessions) and biweekly classes (1 hour twice a week for a total of 20 sessions).
Plans change - we get it. You have until 7 days before the start date of your group course to make any cancelations or transfers. After that, we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds.
If you feel your level isn't the right fit, reach out to [email protected] before your second class and we will transfer you to a better fit, free of charge!

As long as the group course has not been cancelled or it has spots left, there is no deadline to sign up. However, we strongly encourage you to sign up at least two weeks in advance in order to secure your spot!
