All of our group classes are 20 hours and most meet 2 hours once a week for 10 weeks. Some classes, however, operate on different schedules such as twice a week for 2 hours or once a week for 3 hours for 7 weeks.
Each 20-hour class is a “level” (Level 1, Level 2, etc.) and most students choose to continue on to the next level at the end of the class. If you are an absolute beginner and/or wish to restart at the very beginning, you should choose a Level 1 class. For those who are not absolute beginners, you can read more about how to choose the best class for your level by clicking the "How do I know which level I am?" button on any class schedule page.
Private lessons are also available for all languages and can be done at any time that works for both you and the professor we assign to work with you – weekday daytimes, week nights, or weekends. Private lessons usually follow the same trajectory as group classes, but are designed to turn your specific weaknesses into strengths very quickly. More information about private lessons can be found on our Private Lessons page.
Either way, our professors are ready to teach you in a way that is designed for adults with busy schedules who are ready to tackle the challenge of learning a new language in a productive and efficient, yet fun, way. Every single Fluent City class focuses on what we call getting it “off the page” to get you actually speaking the language as quickly as possible.
The main Fluent City office is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. In Manhattan, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, we rent classrooms by the hour.
The price structure for any 20-hour group class is as follows:
$315 in Williamsburg
$355 in Manhattan
$285 in Boston, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia
We look forward to seeing you in class soon!
